- These are the following animals which we take care off. The Horse, Cow, Calf, Sheep, Goat, Donkey. All the animals have certain names. When you are bringing in the Cow you say prig ; and when you are driving them out you say how. The Cow house is thatched or tinned. The floor is of cement or paving stones. There is a long pole from side to side and at the end the chain, bae, or rope is fastened on. Some people hang a horse shoe in the Cow house. There are always windows or holes made in the house for ventilation of air. The Horse is the next important animal. The stable is about the same size as the Cow house. The floor is paved with paving stones. The manger is made of wood or iron and is about three feet high. Some horses are tied and others untied. About two armfulls of hay is sufficient for the horse.
