  1. I am told that there is a well in Williamstown owned by James Bermingham that can cure the yellow jaundice. this well is situated about two mile and a half east from the village of Mount Temple. It is a fair sized well shaded by a white-thron tree. it is in the centre of the field.
    Any person who wishes to get cured of this disease must go to the well on certain days of the week, before sunrise in the morning and bring away water from this well.
