  1. One evening a man by the name of Nally and his son went fishing in Loch Dairbreac.
    When he was well out on the water a strong gale began to blow and the waves began to rise.
    Once they saw a great wave coming towards them and Nally said to his son, "Get the oar and split the wave".
    He did so but he could not get the oar out
