  1. There was a man living in Rathowen who was supposed to have a fairy friend.
    There was a small hill in front of his door and every morning when he would be going to work he always picked a shining halfcrown from the top of the hill.
    He used to bring another man with him to Streete every night and they used to get drunk on the halfcrown.
    The man's neighbour noticed the halfcrown and he asked the owner
