    about the fairies. The man then went to the fort that night.The fairies asked him to sing or play but he would do nothing for them. The fairies then said "what will we do for this man he is so disagreeable".They agreed to give him the other man's hump along with his own.

    One time a man went to pull haws in a fort in Meathill. He put the ladder against a bush and pulled the fruit till noon.At that time he went home and had his dinner. When he returned he saw a little red man on the ladder pulling some haws for himself. The little red man said
