Ar an leathanach seo
- A man named Matthew Reilly lived near the Lake of Mullagh.
A drove of horses came out of the lake one day. He saw them and he shouted at them to go back.
But before they were in the water one of them dropped a foal. Then they went on down into the lake.
The man took the foal home with him and he reared it. He had it for a long time and it was known to be the best runner in the country. After he had shut it in the stable one night and all was going well with him he went to bed.
On the next day he went out to it but it was gone.
It was supposed to have gone down into the lake from where it came.
