  1. People long ago used to eat only (one) two meals a day. They used eat potatoes or porridge for their break fast which they had at nine o'clock. They used to eat their supper at four o'clock. When tea was used at first they used to drink it black and it was drunk out of noggins. The people used to make cruds and whey from the second beastings of the cow with water added. The people used to eat the potatoes off a canvas bag spread on the floor.
