  1. Situated in Inane, about 50 yards from the Pintown road.
St. Cronan was supposed to be held a prisoner near the spot where the well is situated.
He is supposed to put his finger into the ground and a well sprang forth. The ruins of the prison are still to be seen.
The well is still in existence --There are three stone steps leading down into it. It is covered by a stone building into which has been placed a holy-water font. There is no account of pilgrimages to this well. It is very deep--People still bring home the water in bottles as it is supposed to cure head-ache.
Story-- One time a man was ploughing the field of the well and as he came near it, his horses fell dead and he himself was knocked senseless to the ground.
Tras-scríofa ag duine dár meitheal tras-scríbhneoirí deonacha.
