Gold is supposed to be hidden on the banks of the River Mulceir in the townland of Linfield, in the parish of Pallasgreen. One night three men from a far away place came to dig it out. They worked until they saw a big stone. After a short time they saw a big horse galloping towards them. They fled from the hold, and as the horse passed by, they saw big blocks of timber tied to his legs. When he passed over the hole they saw other men covering it in again.
