    is owned by Mr. Leeney.
There is a bread shop in the townland also.
In Baile Thadgh long ago there lived a very rich man named Mr. Lyons. He owned a famous racehorse named the Maid of Honour. This particular year the horse won a gold cup at Banogue races. In Rockhill there lived a man named Mick Curran who had the gift of making verse, he was the local poet. When Curran saw the beautiful racehorse with the cup tied from his mane he made the following verse:-
If you knew his place of residence,
    It is in Baile Thadhg,
He has as nice a dwelling house
    As ever you laid eyes,
    With holly, beech and elm,
    And laurel at the front.
And the hare is there to sport and play,
If you would like to hunt.
So fill your glasses to the brim
    And leave us drink away,
And wish the Maid of Honour,
More power to win the day,
