  1. Story
On one dark night when a man was cycling home about half past one, as he was passing by a farm owned by O'Carrol a black man stood near a gate and he saluted him but got no return and after passing him out he looked back again and there he was, walking along near his back wheel and he cycled on quicker but he still kept walking with him until he reached a brook flowing from a pond into the river Maigue where he disappeared and the man was terrified and would not go the road again late at night.
