    Forts In Old Abbey.
There are two forts in the grounds - No traces of gates and inner structures remain in one, but Lisnabruck has a deep fosse and outer and inner ring moulds. The inner was once faced with stone, and is thickly covered with hawthorns.
    Slight foundations of a levelled
caher, with looped enclosures and radiating walls, lie in a field to the west of old abbey house.
Made to complete the bridge, but it fell and men were so seriously hurt that they died.
