    About eighty years ago there lived a family in Abbey's Well named O'Sullivans. They decided to go to Cork on a three-days' holiday at one time. Next morning they set out. Leaving one son behind, who had to go to work, the father warned him, to be up in time for work, as he was a sound sleeper. The son gave him his word and so they departed.
    After three days the family returned and were surprised to find the blinds drawn and the door locked. After half an hour's knocking a voice hailed them from one of the upper windows. "Hello! did ye miss the train?"
