    The wren used be hunted long ago & killed before St Stephen's Day & then put on the wren-bush carried by the wrenboy's on that day. The practice has entirely died out in these days. The wren is supposed to be the King of all birds and this is supposed to be the way in which it became King. One day all the birds met and had sports among themselves
