    Roinn Roinn Postáil
    A treasure is supposed to have been hidden in "[?]," a field owned by James Lane of Lavalla. It is not known by whom or why it was placed there. Many attempts have been made to unearth it but any person never suceeded in getting it.
    It consists of three hundred pounds in gold and silver. A bull is supposed to have been minding it. Many attempts were made to hunt this bull. One day people of the generation before us gathered a number of sheep dogs and they lifted up the stone and the bull came out but when they chased away one bull another came to take up his position. Many people have dreamt about this treasure but they didn't tell any one as to where the exact spot is because they said ill luck would follow the person who would get it.
