- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)people were shifting from the Upper Rosses they knocked down the houses. In one house they found gold pennies. These coins were done in Irish and they were two inches thick.
There was a grave-yard in the Upper Rosses behind Mrs Tracey's house. When the men were building the house they found skulls and skeletons and pipes. It was an old custom long ago to put in pipes into the coffin along with the dead.
The present village of Rosses Point has not a very strong foundation. One day where a couple of men digging for (Grenn) Green sand they came across a long flat slab of [?]. They put a charge of dynamite to it and blew it up and it left a hole(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
