    Bhí ceathrar fear ann fadó agus chuadar Clochín le cruithneach. Fuair duine aca airgead agus tháinigh sé abhaile roimh a gcuid eile.
    Nuair a bhí sé ag teacht gairid do Lios Mór léim triúr fear amach thar an gclaidhe agus bhí gunnaí aca. Dúradar leis dul ar a ghlúna agus do thógadar an mhéid airgid a bhí aige uaidh.
    Dúirt sé leis na pólíní é.
    Caitheadar dul go dtí an chúirt ach níor mhóidigh sé ortha in aon chor agus scaoileadh amach arís iad.
