    as he thought a strange dog killed in the yard.He put him aside fearing he was a neighbour's dog and he did not want it to be known .When he went out in the morning he had no dog{of Punchbowl}
    About 2yrs ago Tom Gavin had a fox cub or about 3 months or perhaps more.He had him tied outsidde.He used to feed him on bread. The bread used to disappear. Chickens were disappearing.
    One day bread disappeared as usual.After a time Mrs Gavin went out again and bread was now pushed out to entice chickens -a bait.
    ferret's leavings are a cure for the chin -cough.
