    Holly and ivy at xmas .Left up till 12th Days.when taken down and thrown out or burned.Some dont take down till Shrove Tues.and burn them when making pancakes.
    Blessed palm kept12 months ,then burned.Special veneration for Easter Water.Shaken on cattle and members of family .Used for cow after calving -sprinkled on herself and calf.
