  1. My grandauntie tells a story of what she saw eighty years ago on her way to school. Not very far from her home in Clashmore there is an old fort and she often heard her grandmother telling stories of that fort. I was a bright summers morning and she happened to be alone on the way to school. Passing the fort which was close to the road side she saw coming slowly from the fort a big tall girl six feet high and dressed in brown satin with a brown cape on her head. At the present day she can remember the strange lady in brown who disappeared in no time into the fort again.
