    Very often if the people of the house saw a woman coming they would turn her out again If there was a woman in the neighbourhood whom the people thought would wish them back luck they would watch for her and turn her out if they saw her coming but suppose if she came in unknown to them and wished them a happy new year, they would blame her if anything happens that year, such as if any of their cattle died. or their horses died or if any of their crops failed or if any of the people of that house died
