  1. In the neighborhood of Kilkishen in a place named Knockatureen there is said to be hidden gold. There were two attempts made to get it.
    I.
    A priest who was stationed in Kilkishen heard of the gold, and went in search of it one day under a white thorn bush. This bush is in the middle of a field without any other bush near it.
    The priest set out early next day and took a man with him to dig.
    The man dug while the priest looked on. The man was not long digging when he looked up and saw a goat on the tree
