    Forges
    There are two forges in the parish one on Kilkishen and the other one in Belvoir.Neither of them are in very much use generally speaking.
    The former is owned by Mr O Neill and it is a good forge but on a count of the owners death none of his sons took up the position.
    The latter is owned by Mr P Moloney .it is a very bad forge there is no roof in it atall but still the smith shoes horses for his neighbours in it.There is a big double door in each of the forges and round shaped over head in the top .
