    A great many people in my locality believe in "píseogs" There are certain times of the year which people hate to see a woman enter their hour This time occurs twice a year
    No New years day the people have to see a woman enter their house, and hardy any woman go visiting in new years day If a woman did go visiting on that day the would being a man with her, and let the man in before her and he would wish the people a happy new year which she would walk in behind him and saw nothing No matter what business a woman had to a house on that day
