  1. The people in my locality call him the "Leipracán" or the small little man. They say he is dressed in red with a red night cap and a tastle in it hanging down over his face. He also wears a pair of red slippers with toes very pointed and tastles in top of each.
    According to tradition he lives in forths with all the rest of the fairies. He is always supposed to be mending shoes, when people see him.
    He is supposed to have hidden gold somewhere around where he is working.
    When coming near him you would hear "tap, tap, tap," and looking around you would see him sitting on a tode
