- Marriages are common in February. This is an old rhyme Monday for health, Tuesday for wealth, Wednesday the beat day of all. Thursday for losses and Friday for crosses, and Saturday no luck at all.
Pat Connolly of Killclaugha used to make matches He made matches between John Markey of Cohaw and Bridget Boyle of Kilnacrew. The two people got married about 20 years. Pat Connolly is dead now.
My grand aunt Miss Duke of Grotcrotta married James Carloan of Carlolynch. There were twelve horses at the wedding. The bride and groom were in front and a man and a woman on the rest of the horse.
