  1. There is a fort in the townland of Degnavanty where there was gold found. Mr. Donaghai was putting out his cows at night and the big stone was on the hole and it was took off the hole in the morning and it is said that Phillip King of Corragarry got the gold.
    Last Christmas night there was a light seen on James Carroll's fort about twelve o'clock and it went away and it came back again and it is said that there were fairies on it.
