    Fairies are said to live in the neighbouring forts.
    The Leipreachan which is commonly known as the Geanncanach is supposed to guard hidden treasure.
    There is supposed to be hidden treasure in Lisnabuntry fort which is in Killenkere, and it is said to be guarded by a bull.
    Men on horseback are said to have been seen guarding forts.
    There is a fort in Drumina.
    Old people tell stories about treasure which they say is in the forts.
