    Local Cures.
    Bernadette Lynch, Ardfrail, Oldcastle, Co Meath whose father died before she was born has the cure of the dirty mouth. She has to go to the person whom she is curing for three days in succession and blow her breath into the mouth.
    Pinia Sheridan, Dungimmon, Mt Nugent has the cure of the dirty mouth.
    Joe Duffy, Oldcastle, has the cure of the running worm. He cured Nancy Dolan, Cloneyfad.
    Tommie Reilly Dungimmon has the cure of the burn. He has to lick a mankeeper's belly.
    Mrs Cadden seventh son has the cure of the running worm.
    A gold ring is for the cure of a sore eye. Pat Caffrey, Castlerahan, Ballyjamesduff, Co Cavan was cured with a gold ring of his mother's.
    Mrs Brady Ardfrail, Oldcastle got the cure of the nose in a lake near Lough Crew. If a man has the nose a woman has to get the cure of for him, and if a woman has it a man has to get it for her. You have to lift a bottle of water and when you are lifting it the person is getting cured,
