  1. Certain people still are believed to have the evil eye - quite unknown to themselves.
    Other have what is known as an unlucky stroke. These usually use the left hand in preference to the right. The idea is they cannot hit anything without doing some lasting damage.
    Sayings
    A rogue's breath is bad.
    "Not all as one")- a direct hit at the listener when the good qualities of another are being narrated.
    Don't bring out your hen on a wet day.
    The wisest hen at all lays out at times
    "Don't even it to it" - meaning don't make a comparison
    "as crooked as the hind leg of a dog"
    "like a turkey in stubbles" (awkward)
