  1. Long ago there lived a poet in our house. His name was Flood. He wrote many poems but few are remembered. This is a verse of one of his poems.
    If you were to see the Scrabbly boys
    On top of Shidhamm hill
    They were like a squad of infantry
    Marching out to drill
    With the spades upon their shoulders
    The holes they quickly bored
    For to decorate and ornament
    Around Lough Gourma Shore.
