  1. The food eaten long ago was porridge, milk, oaten bread, potatoes and meat.
    There were three meals in a day, breakfast, mid-day and evening.
    They worked before breakfast.
    There was new milk taken.
    They also had butter.
    The table was hung up on the wall when not in use in our home but it is not there now.
