    The old chapel of Ballyhaise was very near the spot where this well is situated.
    The "Unblessed" Well of Curraghatober [underlined]
    Now only a dirty-looking boghole. Legend says that a druid lies underneath this Spring.

    This is situated near Broomfield, Ballyhaise in the vicinity of "Elliott's Cross" supposed to cure any disease
    It is supposed that a branch of the Franciscan Abbey, Cavan existed near this spot.

    1. In Corranure there is a Cashel. near a stone bearing the imprint of a colt's foot from which the Parish gets its name (Cos an tSearraig)
    2. The fort of Lisdunvis the inner mound of which seems to have been encircled by palissades for defence.
    3. Lismagratty Fort - supposed to have an underground chamber
    4. Lisadeegan Fort
