  1. The name of our townland is Lavagh. The parish is Lusmagh. There are four houses in it. There is no man over seventy. Our townland in the famine it was very thickly populated there are only fourteen people in it now and in the years of the famine there was about sixe times than what is in it now there was about ten yards between the houses. A great number of people went to America out of Lavagh
