    This song is describing the Lusmagh hurlers beaten in Drum-Cullen. It was composed by Mr. Browne in Birr about thirty years ago.
    I
    Come all ye young heroes so young true and brave.
    The bold sons of Erin we meant to deceive,
    By hurling a match in Shinrone town.
    Against Fortal, Drum-Cullen
    and brave Ballin-Down.
    II
    From the chapel of Lusmagh those young men did start.
    Each man with a hurl(e) and a bright gaelic heart.
    The crowds in the brakes received great renown.
