    There was a little house in Byrne's castle meadow near where the chapel was in Doonooney.

    These people were poor, and they were not able to pay the rent.
    The land lord came this day to put them out
    When he came there the woman was churning an the land lord had some kind of a row with them.
    Anyhow the land lord killed the two of them. It is said that the shape of the house, and the woman and girl, was often seen there afterwards.
