Saint Cormac is our patron saint. There are ruins of an old church in the townland of Kilcormac and people say that was St Cormac's church. There is a well in a bog nears the ruins called St Cormac's well. Saint Cormac's feast-day is the twenty-first of June and our "patron" is held on the Sunday nearest to the twenty-first [of June].Gerard Leacy,
