    This incident did not happen in my district but still in the same parish and only three miles away.

    [Informant] a teacher. I do not like to give his name here as his family is now grown up and live near this place.
    This incident did not happen in my district but still in the same parish and only three miles away. I record it as I am not sure if that teacher told the story to any other person. That particular teacher as I heard even before I became acquainted with him (lived nearer to Enniscorthy than Gorey) was no stranger to the roads at night and would ridicule ghost stories. When I knew him afterwards I was quite satisfied that he was a man of exceptionally strong nerves. He was married to a Gorey lady. His family were
