Have not heard of anyone in this district who was able to stop bleeding by charm. One man however, Mr Thomas Earl who died some years ago told me he could stop bleeding by means of a prayer. He said he stopped it in a great many cases. According to him it is very easily done. The agency is a simple prayer which he gave me to be accompanied of course by faith. Mr Earl was a retired merchant at the time he told me about that cure. I made inquiries but never heard from anyone that he had that power.
