  1. These are the names of Holy Wells St. Martins Well, and Lady Well.
St. Martins Well is in Mr Killians field in Fermoyle. The track of St. Martins hand and foot is on the rock which is beside the Well. Pilgrims do not visit this well.
Lady Well is in Newtowncashel and Pilgrims go to this Well between the 15th August and the 8th Sept. They go around the well on bare knees throwing a pebble after each round. People wash their sores in this well. There is a whitethorn bush growing beside the well. Each person leaves a strip of cloth on this bush.
