My father told me all these signs of the weather.
1. When there is goat's hair and cow tracks in the sky it's a sign that the next day will be raining.2. When the crane goes from Lough Iron to Lough Owel you may start cutting the meadow as the weather is going to be fine.3. When the Dublin red is in the eastern sky expect rain.4. If the crows settle to roost on the hill of Frewin you may be sure of wet weather.5. When you can hear the train going at night you may be sure that the frost is coming.- Collector
