    When children used to make balls they used an old stocking and put corks inside and then wind the old wool around the corks.
    Guns
    They used to get a piece of Elder bush and scoop out the inside of it and then fix another piece of stick at the end of it.
    Sling
    They used to get a piece of leather and bore a hole each side in it and put a piece of string in it.

    They used to plait strong rushes in the shape of a box and plait three or four more together to make a handle and when they would see the pinkeens they would put the net into the
