People put the blessed palm sometimes over the cow house...

People put the blessed palm sometimes over the cow house door over the horse stable door, and over the calf stable door.
It is said that it is lucky to put it in such places. When people get more blessed palm they throw the other palm away or burn it.

Holly is used for decorating the house at Christmas.

Holly is used for decorating the house at Christmas. People put it up all around the windows and the house. It is used also for decorating the Crib. It is left up until after twelfth Day. They have no particular place to put it. This was the old custom and is still.
