    There is a mass rock in a deep valley situated at the mearing of the farms of Patrick Sheerin and Andrew Drought in the townland of Garryduff. It is shaded on one side by the hazel wood, and on the other side by a hedge. Mass was read there every week in the penal days.

    There is a mass path at the back of Rahugh chapel. It leads to the mass rock in Garryduff. It is shadowed on one side by a hazel wood and on the other side by a hazel ditch. In the Penal days, people used to go that path to mass in Garryduff.
