    Sheep's suet, bee's wax, Venus turpentine, unsalted butter, root of the daisy and ladies mantle are supposed to cure the trush when boiled together

    Jaundice
    A lot of primroses are gathered and boiled. The juice is said to cure the jaundice

    Whooping Cough
    A red string tied about the neck by the godfather of a female or a godmother of a male child is supposed to cure the whooping cough. There are supposed to be nine knots tied on the string.

    Burst
    The white of an egg, unsalted butter, and herbs are supposed to cure the burst when boiled together.
