  1. We were told in school to collect stories about hidden treasure in Co. Meath, but I could not get very much information.
    I asked all the old people round about but they said they did not know any stories.
    My father told me that he heard some talk about money being buried in Lough because there were no banks in olden times and it had to be hidden underground.
    He said that was all he knew about it.
