    Mulligan had a school at Cnoc near Crowe's Bridge Inagh(borders of Kilmaley and Inagh).A woman who went to school to him told me she was able to spell every word in the Carpenter's spelling book including the Principles of Politeness.At this time poor scholars used to go home with different scholars every night.
