    About eight years ago, there was a circus on the Green, Cashel.

    About eight years ago, there was a circus on The Green, Cashel. A woman named Mary Meaney, who is now living near us, went down to see it. She stood outside a little house where a man named Tom Shanahan lived with his wife Bridget.
    The woman (?) asked her to go and get her some bread. She did so & when she came back, she noticed the woman's lips very blue. She - Mrs. S. - said to the "messenger" -
    "I was dead last night and I passed through a beautiful avenue with flowers on every side. I met St. Brigid, and she asked Almighty God to leave me back to earth." She also told her that she would never die without a priest.
    Mary Meany then went home
