  1. Not so many years ago there lived a man whom everybody called a "fairy-doctor." His house was right beside Killaugh hill on the Golden road outside Cashel.
    He used to go every night to Killough Hill & pluck his "cures" from it. Sometimes he was beaten on the way. He had also the gift of knowing if anyone were coming to him - no matter from what far-off distance - to be healed.
