  1. 4. My home district is in Holy Cross. About thirty-fice families live there. "Ryan" being the most common name. Holycross got its name from the famous abbey which is famed in song and story.
    There is a legend told about "Wlainisur na Croise Nac wicha:- In early ages a blind monk in this mo nastery had a three during three nights. On the fourth day he told two monks of it - that a hand was to be seen protruding from the ground near the Abbey. When they arrived at the proposed place they found a sow rooting the ground. They dug deeply and found the vody of "The Good Woman's Son" which they buried in the Abbey.
